Here are the regulations at the National Palace Museum:
・Follow the instructions of the staff upon entry. Violations may result in warnings, refusal of entry, or ejection. ・Prohibited items include dangerous goods, food, liquids, bottles, and cans. ・Photography and video recording are allowed in the exhibition halls, but the use of camera flashes, lighting equipment, tripods, and selfie sticks is prohibited. Please pay attention to individual signs indicating items that cannot be photographed. ・Dress appropriately for entry. Sandals and backpacks are not allowed. ・Large personal items such as backpacks, travel bags, and suitcases larger than A4 size must be left at the baggage check area. The museum may conduct security checks as needed. ・Guided explanations are not permitted in Rooms 301 (exhibiting the "Mao Gong Ding" and "Zong Zhou Zhong") and 302 (exhibiting the "Jadeite Cabbage"). Guides may accompany visitors but cannot provide explanations in these rooms. ・If any actions are judged to compromise the safety of the exhibits or the order of the visit, warnings, restrictions, or refusal of entry may be imposed.
