The Experience
After enjoying the magnificent views at the Changhua Great Buddha on Bagua Mountain in Changhua, take a stroll through the historic Lukang Old Street (Lukang Longshan Temple, Tianhou Temple). Visit the Taiwan Railway Changhua Roundhouse, popular with railway enthusiasts, and enjoy the cultural experience at the Chengmei Cultural Park. Then, move on to the Sun Moon Lake area in Nantou, where you can savor the charm of authentic tea at a local tea factory, known for its specialty teas. Later, explore the picturesque Dazhuo Shopping Street and immerse yourself in Taiwan’s natural beauty and culture on this enriching 2-day trip!
Day 1: Travel by bullet train to Taichung 09:20: Meet at Taichung HSR Station (Exit 7, 1F Passenger Drop-off Area, 3rd lane). Afterward, transfer to Changhua. 09:50-10:50: Visit the Changhua Great Buddha on Bagua Mountain. 11:20-13:50: Explore Lukang Old Street (Lukang Longshan Temple, Tianhou Temple). Lunch is on your own. 14:10-15:10: Visit the Taiwan Railway Changhua Roundhouse. (Closed on Mondays) 15:20-15:40: Visit Nantiangong's 18-layer Hell. ★ Hidden gem. 16:30: Hotel check-in (Floramos Hotel) 18:00: Dinner.
Day 2: 07:30: Breakfast + Check-out 09:00-10:30: Explore Chengmei Cultural Park. 12:00-13:20: Arrive in Nantou + Lunch. 13:30-14:00: Visit HOHOCHA Tea Factory (Taiwan Xiang Sun Moon Lake Tea Factory). 14:20-16:00: Explore Dazhuo Shopping Street + Sun Moon Lake. 17:30: Return to Taipei by bullet train, scheduled for #1322 at 17:53/18:44. Please note: The car and guide are not reserved exclusively, so if you shorten the time for sightseeing locations, the use of the car and guide will not be possible. - This activity requires a minimum booking of 2 participants.
- If the number of participants is fewer than 2, the tour may not be conducted.
- Private vehicles: A sedan for 2 participants, a 9-passenger van for 3-6 participants, a 20-passenger medium bus for 7-12 participants, and a large bus for 13 or more participants.
- Child passenger requirements: Children under 4 years old or weighing less than 18 kg must use a child seat. The first child seat is provided free of charge, and any additional child seats will incur a rental fee (NT$500 per seat).
- Guide: A Japanese-speaking guide will accompany the entire tour.
- When booking the tour, please provide the participant's name, date of birth, and passport number.

● The guide will board the car from Taipei and accompany the entire itinerary. ● Meals included in the tour may be served on large platters, depending on the number of people. As it is common to serve food in large portions at Taiwanese restaurants, we kindly ask for your understanding. ● Additional orders for dishes or drinks will incur extra charges. ● If you wish to leave the group, please inform the guide on the day of the tour and sign the departure form. Please note that if you leave the group for personal reasons, the tour price will not be adjusted. ● Infants (under 2 years old) will not be provided with meals or seats. ● Please bring personal items such as water, umbrellas, personal medication, sunscreen, or warm clothing as needed. ● To maintain the quality of the tour and the rights of other participants, please do not bring pets with you on the tour. ● You will be enrolled in travel insurance coverage of 2 million NTD + medical insurance of 200,000 NTD, as well as travel accident insurance of 2 million NTD + medical insurance of 200,000 NTD. The necessary details will be requested during booking. The insurance is included in the tour price. ● The tour schedule may change or be canceled due to weather or traffic conditions. ● In the event of natural disasters, including typhoons, or other emergencies such as war, riots, or flight cancellations/delays preventing participation, refunds for the tour cost or any additional damages or expenses will generally not be provided. ● Tours on the day of arrival in Taiwan are allowed, provided that you can meet the specified meeting time. ● Depending on the date of your booking, confirmation responses may be delayed until after weekends, Taiwan holidays, or the Chinese New Year period. ● The order of sightseeing may be adjusted depending on the situation on the day.
